Please read these important notes about Opening Day / Photo Day
1) Opening Day Ceremony will be held at South Pasadena High School's Stadium Field on Saturday, September 13, 7:30 A.M. The ceremony begins at 8:00 am & ends at 9:00 AM SHARP!!
Please allow plenty of time for parking & to check-in with your team; plan to arrive inside the stadium no later than 7:30 A.M. with the Team Banner, so we can begin the short ceremony on time. Please note that cleats, drinks/food will not be permitted onto the field/track, see notes below. See Field Locations link at left, for SPHS Stadium Field location/map.
2) * Please note that for Opening Day Ceremony: NO CLEATS & NO DRINKS/FOOD will be permitted inside the stadium’s synthetic turf and track area;only flat soled shoes will be permitted! There will be no exceptions!
-All who wish to step on the field/track must wear flat soled shoes; no cleats/heels,etc. & only clear water is permitted,
If not, plan to send your child on their own to their team’s location onto the field.
3) Team Photos will be taken throughout the day at South Pasadena High School. Please assure your child is dressed in their full uniform for picture day. A team photo and individual photo are included FREE with your child’s AYSO Registration. Additional photos & novelty items are available for purchase; please complete order form(s) prior to arrival.
Team photos are on a very tight schedule; scheduled every 5 minutes throughout the day….it is imperative that you arrive 15 minutes early with Team Banner & forms completed so your team can be photographed on time with all players in the Team Photo! Individual & Team pictures will be taken as scheduled; Photo times may not be changed. Team photos will not be delayed due to late players , but all players will receive a Team Photo even if they are not in the Team Photo. Photo times may not be changed.
4) AYSO REGION 214 Gear, including new styles of polos, sweatshirts, t-shirts, & bags will be available at the Merchandise Table at picture day!! Local favorites Los Tacos & Jamba Juice will also be on hand to satisfy the family's appetite!!
5) Thank You to the many Volunteers needed to staff this event and assure that everything runs smoothly! PLEASE be reminded of your Volunteer commitments. Thank You for Volunteering!!
