Please read these important notes about Opening Day / Photo Day

1)      Opening Day Ceremonies will be held at San Marino High School’s Titan Stadium on Saturday 15, September beginning at 8:00am. Please allow plenty of time for parking and plan to arrive inside the stadium no later than 7:45am so we can begin the short ceremonies on time. The SMHS address is 2701 Huntington Drive.

 

2)      Please be reminded that there will be NO Food or Drinks allowed inside the stadium’s synthetic turf and track area. What does this mean??….you will NOT be allowed to escort your child to their team on the field if you are carrying any food or drinks with you on Saturday morning (please leave your starbucks behind, or be willing to send your child on their own to their team’s location onto the field). As you know, we are guests of the San Marino Unified School District and it is critical that we respect these important restrictions to preserve the field.

 

3)      Team Photos will be taken throughout the day in the San Marino HS Courtyard area. Your team’s photo time can be found at the link to the left (“Opening Day Photo Schedule”). Please assure your child is dressed in their full uniform for picture day. A team photo and individual photo are included FREE with your child’s AYSO Registration. However, if you choose to purchase additional photos (sports cards, bobble heads, etc) you can complete the forms just prior to your team photo. Team photos are on a tight schedule (occurring every 6 minutes throughout the day….it is imperative that you arrive early so your team can be photographed on time!)

 

4)      Tickets for AYSO Night at the LA Galaxy game (Sunday, 23 September 5:00pm game) will be on sale at the Merchandise table immediately following Opening Day Ceremonies. NOTE: We have purchased only 500 tickets and this event is sold out. You may purchase these $40 face value tickets at our Region 214 discount for $30/each! Due to pre-sales, we only have approx 400 tickets remaining for this event.

 

5)      PLEASE be reminded of your Volunteer commitments. We need many volunteers to staff this event and assure that everything runs smoothly.

 

6)      See you Saturday morning for the official kick-off of another season of AYSO Soccer in Region 214.
