Many have been writing to express concern about playing games on Saturday. 

As is our Region's practice, we'll continue to defer to the experts in air quality, and see what the latest public health notices indicate before making a decision this evening (Friday).

We are aware that many HS programs have resumed activities in the San Gabriel Valley (and even the San Diego Chargers NFL Football team has announced that they WILL play their home game IN San Diego - an area with MUCH worse air quality than South Pasaden & San Marino).

Ultimately the PARENTS have the final say in their child's health, and participation, and that is where it should reside...particularly if the LA County experts are saying it is permissable.

The U6/U8 program is non-competitive and we MIGHT consider cancelling these games at a minimum.  But, as always, please read the website news item this evening when a final decision is reached.
