How are players selected for teams?

Competitive players are selected to teams based on their fall season evaluations or EXTRA team status.  The number of Spring Cup teams formed in a division is limited by the number of parents who volunteer to referee and coach.

What is the Schedule?

  • Spring Cup teams have weeknight practices 1 or 2 times a week starting in early March.
  • Spring Cup teams have games every on 4 weekends from March through May. Though rare, there may also be weeknight games.

Those players that are selected to a Spring Cup team are expected to make all practices and games as there is an attendance requirement for all players in order to play in the Spring Cup Play-offs.

What is the Cost?

The cost per player is $150.  Uniforms will be All Star or EXTRA Uniforms from the current season.

When will Registration be Available?

Registration is open now.  Apply for the Spring Cup Season by logging in and registering your player by February 14-25.

Spring Cup is a completely new and separate season from Fall Core, Extra, and the All-Star Programs.  All volunteer positions are needed and volunteers may need to show flexibility in the volunteer positions they will be undertaking. For example, an individual may have been a Coach during the regular season, but will be asked to be a Referee or perform field maintenance during the All Star Season. Parents will confirm their volunteer positions prior to the player's selection to a YDP team.

Coaches, team managers, referees, assistant referees, field maintenance and administrative volunteers are needed.  It cannot happen without your help and commitment!
